Electricians in Broughton

Broughton grew from 1,722 residents in 2011 to 2,467 in 2021, and it is not hard to see where the extra households went: new estates off Whittingham Lane, on land that was farmed until recently. The old village is still there around St John Baptist, whose tower dates from 1533, and the road through it lost its through traffic to the bypass that opened in October 2017.

That leaves two quite different sorts of work. Houses on the newer estates normally have a consumer unit with space for an EV circuit, so what owners tend to want is a charge point, outside sockets, garage and garden supplies, smart lighting and heating control, and the odd developer snag put right.

The farmhouses, outbuildings and older cottages in the parish are another matter: three phase distribution, submains to workshops and stores, outdoor circuits, and fault finding on buried cable that only misbehaves after rain. We do both.
