Buckshaw Village is barely twenty years old. The first homes went up in 2003 on the cleared site of ROF Chorley, the munitions filling factory that was in production from 1939 until its last section shut in 2007, and which had more than 28,000 people on site at its wartime peak. Over 3,000 homes have been built since, Buckshaw Parkway station opened in 2011, and the village straddles the Chorley and South Ribble boundary. Buckshaw Hall and Worden Old Hall, both listed, are the older buildings left standing among it.

A full rewire is rarely what a house here needs. The earliest phases are twenty years old now, with consumer units predating the 18th Edition and its expectation of RCBOs on individual circuits and surge protection. New homes with parking have had to include an EV charge point since June 2022, and these streets were finished well before that, so we install charge points, garden and garage supplies, extra sockets and smart lighting, and we take on snagging and landlord EICRs.

On Matrix Park, Revolution Park and Buckshaw Link we cover office and warehouse maintenance, emergency lighting testing, LED high bay replacement and three-phase fault finding.
