Common questions

Testing & Inspection FAQs

How often do landlords need an EICR?

At least every five years, and at the start of a new tenancy in England. A copy must be given to tenants.

What does an unsatisfactory report mean?

It means at least one C1 or C2 observation was found. Those items must be remedied, and we will quote to correct them.

How long does testing take?

A typical three-bed home takes three to four hours. Commercial premises depend on the number of circuits.
